Desert Terrain by Dexter Lacuanan

When I saw these amazing desert terrain from Gale Force Nine’s Battlefield-in-a-Box Galactic Warzones, I knew that I’ve got to have them, so I ended up ordering the whole set.

The collection includes: 1) Desert Tower, 2) Desert Buildings, and 3) Desert Walls.

A simple perusal of the set would clearly show that it was inspired by the architecture from the desert world of Tatooine from Star Wars lore.

Of course, I had to find a suitable miniature to inhabit this desert world and since I did not have any 28mm Star Wars miniatures, I chose Privateer Press’ Saxon Orrik, a Minion Character Solo from Warmachine.

I think he looks right at home. What do you guys think?

If you have a desert-themed army, I highly recommend this terrain from GF9. It comes painted and is ready to play straight from the box.
